IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW
2013 RESERVATION POLICIES
RESERVATIONS
  1. We begin taking reservations for the season on January 1st via web site or camp phone (740-625-6600).
  2. A valid credit card number is required when making the reservation.    
  3. Holiday weekends and cabins are charged a deposit of one night’s rate at time of reservation.
  4. Special requests or site requests are noted but not guaranteed.
  5. Must be 18 years of age to rent a campsite.  Must be 21 years of age to rent a cabin
ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE
  1. Check in is 1-9 and check out is 12:00.
  2. Early check-in and late departures are $5.00 per hour per site and depend on site availability. No early check-in or late departure for cabins.
  3. No check-in after 9:00 PM

RATES
  1. Camping rates are based on ONE family of 5 consisting of one set of parents and up to 3 of their minors.  Two families cannot share one site. 
  2. No more than 7 people on a site overnight.  This includes small toddlers
PAYMENT
  1. No personal checks are accepted at time of check in but will be accepted one week prior to check in.
  2. Forms of payment: Cash, Visa,  Mastercard, Discover
  3. Store purchases must total $10.00 or more in order to pay with credit/debit card.  
  4. ATM machine located in General Store.  
  5. Full payment due at check-in (except holiday weekends)
CANCELLATIONS
  1. No shows that have not checked in by 9:00 p.m. on scheduled arrival day will lose the site and be charged for all nights that were reserved.       
  2. Cancellations received the day of arrival for campsites (non- holiday) are charged for ONE night.
  3. Cancellations received 1 day prior to first day of arrival for campsites (non-holiday) are not charged.      
  4. Cancellations received for cabins 14 days or prior to first day of arrival will receive a full credit toward another day during the current season OR a refund of the deposit minus a $50.00 service fee. Less than 14 days will forfeit the entire deposit.  
  5. Cancellations received for holiday or Halloween weekends forfeit the entire deposit, regardless of when the cancellation is made.  “No shows” are charged for the entire 3-day weekend. 
REFUNDS
  1. No refunds whatsoever for inclement weather, early check out, family crisis, illness, schedule changes, personal, etc.  We have a limited number of overnight camping sites and even smaller number of cabins which causes us to book up quickly.  We have turned other families away in order to hold the site for you
  2. Autumn Lakes is a privately owned campground and we reserve the right to remove any guest or revoke privileges for any reason at any time with no refund whatsoever.
 
PROHIBITED
  1. No fireworks or firecrackers allowed.  July 4th weekend is an exception on select items but must be approved through management.
  2. No guns of any kind (includes BB & paintball) or bows/arrows. 
  3. No 4-wheelers, dirt bikes, or mini motorcycles.  You may have battery-operated toys, scooters, or golf carts
FIREWOOD
  1. You may bring in your own firewood.
  2. Firewood is for sale in general store for $5/load. A load consists of 10-12 pieces delivered to your site.
CONDUCT
  1. We are a family-oriented campground and want to ensure that everyone’s stay is pleasant.
  2. Distasteful or Excessive public display of affection is not allowed. Foul language is prohibited.
  3. Quiet time is 11:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. No radios, musical instruments or loud behavior during these hours.
  4. Radios should be played loud enough for your site to hear-not sites around you.  Radios off at quiet time.
ALCOHOL
  1. Alcohol is permitted by legal drinking aged adults.  If you must leave your site with alcohol in your hand, it must be covered (koozie, colored cup, thermal mug, etc.).  NO KEGS ALLOWED.
  2. Drunk, loud, obnoxious behavior, or fighting is not tolerated. 
  3. You may not use alcohol as an excuse as to why you ruined someone else’s camping vacation!
PARKING
  1. One (1) vehicle per site. Additional vehicles must be parked in designated parking areas.
PETS
  1. No aggressive dogs allowed. Do NOT bring your dog if you even have a small doubt about its behavior.
  2. Pets must be on a leash or contained at all times (except in our Bark Park).
  3. No leashes over 8ft.long. When tied up at site, dog may not be able to reach past 10 feet to road.
  4. Pets must be picked up after-even at your site. They may not be tied up in direct sun for long periods.
  5. Dogs that are barking constantly may be asked to exit the park.  Please don’t bring your pet if you think he/she may ruin someone else’s relaxing weekend!
  6. Cabin guests must have pet approved when making reservation, There is a fee for dogs in cabins.
  7. Dog Boarding facility is 1 mile from Autumn Lakes, “Camp Canine”  740-524-3647
CHILDREN
  1. Parents are responsible for their children’s actions.
  2. Children are not allowed to play in outhouses or shower houses.
  3. Small children must be accompanied by an adult at all times during your stay.
  4. Kids must be back at their own campsite by 11:00.
UNITS ON SITES
  1. Tent sites may have up to 2 tents on one site or 1 pop-up and 1 tent.
  2. No extra sleeping units on RV sites.  One (1) RV per site.  One (1) screened “room” tent is allowed.
  3. Screened room tent may only be used for cover or food table, not storage or sleeping. 
  4. Two weeks max on tent camping. 
FISHING
  1. Private.  No fishing license required.
  2. Catch and Release ONLY. No minnows, buckets, or liners allowed.
  3. No catching of frogs or turtles.
  4. We sell night crawlers in the camp store.
SECURITY
  1. Security cameras are in use and placed throughout the park.
  2. Security gate is closed at all times and needs a security code or card to enter park.
  3. Autumn Lakes representatives make “rounds” throughout the day and late evening to monitor sites.
  4. Our phone is manned all night long.  No matter what the time, you can call our office with any issue.
  5. 911 emergency phone located outside of general store.
  6. Delaware County Sheriff’s office and Porter Township Fire all have a special security code and have access at all times to the park.

Spacious, located directly on pond.  These sites have: 15 amp electric, picnic table, fire ring, water, 1 gravel pad for vehicle, and a 10x12 mesh shade net over picnic table.
